   DGS’ EPOS solution is engineered to work in land-based gaming environments (betting shops, race tracks, bingo halls). Completely integrated with DGS’ sports and racing back office, the DGS EPOS front-end enables retail wagering, through a cashier, kiosks or touch screens, on all major global sport and racing events. The system works with all major display systems including monitors, television and plasma screens and even electronic tote boards.

    Success, particularly in a retail environment, requires instant access to the right information. For this reason we’ve developed interfaces to all the major sports wagering line and information services. Our track feed provides real-time horse information (including late scratches, to-the-second post times and results as soon as they are available) for hundreds of tracks located all over the globe. This same feed can also be used to display 8 video channels of live sports and racing.

    DGS EPOS has been designed to allow centralized risk management of point-of-sale locations regardless of where in the world they are located. We make is possible for a central risk management function to track gaming activity and profitability on a regional, location and individual terminal level. Built in cash controls, including full cash in/out reconciliation tools, help retail operators protect against theft.

    Through its broad partner network DGS can offer its licensees both risk management-bookmaking and / or facility management assistance. Those operators interested, therefore, can outsource an entire EPOS network to DGS and its trusted and experienced partners.
